Could someone clarify how to view a thread started by a participant that only views the chronological responses by responders to that thread?

Hello Abbarossa,
there is a function for this in every forum.You can find it beneath the name of the forum and over the first posting of any thread. It reads "Display replies in nested form" with an arrow. By clicking the arrow you'll find further display options.
