Hello Wanderer,

there is information on the course book on the online course.

Currently, the book is not available any more, all copies have been sold - sorry!

You can do the online course without this book, of course. I am looking forward to seeing you there.

Hello wanderer & Andrea

I just wanted to say Andrea is quite right.

Although I do have the book, it was quite a while before I purchased it and I did not have any problem getting along in the course without it.

Hope this is of some help also

Hi SauvisDea,

yes, and Salomo is in the process of doing this.

Among other things like designing and conducting new workshops, working at one or two other books and in general running our mystery school :-)

I also hope that the new edition of the book will be available soon :-)

Re: Where to purchase "An Introduction to Magic and Meditation"?

par Doramage,

We Seekers of Truth are so conditioned to seek this knowledge through books, for true Masters are hard to find, but even still, it is difficult to not want to hang on to that kind of crutch. However, I am beginning to see how this course was designed, and there is a wealth of knowledge available for free on YouTube, and as a past GD magician, I can see just how much information is included in those dozens, or hundreds of individual videos, and just what is in there is necessary to learn in detail, before proceeded with more knowledge under a Master, Guide or Teacher already having mastered the basics and beyond. For now, I am just honored to be here. After figuring out how to get around in the Forums, and getting a glimpse as to how useful just reading the old posts can be to start learning and seeing different arguments about various topics.  There is a wealth of info to master before begging for more advanced knowledge. Thank you, BOEL!

Hello Doramage,

you're welcome!

I'm glad you like the forums within this General Open Forum. You'll find much more forums in our actual free online Qabbalah course :-) It is there that you can discuss the various topics that are so important for the students of the Mysteries!

In fact, I do not consider books (and courses) as crutches. Quite the contrary - they are an important part of learning. It is no coincidence that magic and spellbooks / grimoires are so well-known and sought after. :-)

Maybe you already read the Overview of our Training in the course?

Also, finding a teacher only at a point in time when you think you are already knowledgable can also prove as disadvantage - compare the second course lesson on this.

I hope you'll enjoy our course and resources - I'm sure you'll find many more treasures and much joy there!

In Light
Andrea

Re: Where to purchase "An Introduction to Magic and Meditation"?

par Doramage,

Dear Andrea,

Thank you so much for your reply to my comment. I understand your statement that books should not be considered as crutches. I most certainly have acquired a vast library of occult books of every subject over my years, and until I finally found the Golden Dawn around 2001, I absorbed myself in most of those books on my shelves, but unfortunately, non opened me up psychically or taught me how to practice magic safely. My statement was not meant to degrade the value of studying theoretical material through books, until one finds a teacher or legitimate school of magic, but to not rely strickly on book learning to begin practicing High Ritual Magic.  I saw your reference to buying the book on the Qabbala by Solomo Baal-Shem, and I have purchased it, and in process of reading it.
