Pronunciation question in pentagram ritual

Pronunciation question in pentagram ritual

Hello.  I am new here, and have been my modest daily practice to BOEL standards, at least as presented on YouTube.

In the pentagram ritual, as AGLA is a notariqon, why is it pronounced as a single word instead of each letter enunciated clearly?

Thank you.

Seeking,

Palmer

Hello Palmer,

this is the way notarikons are used in the Jewish / Qabbalistic tradition: you take the initial (or middle, or end) letters of several words to create new words.
