Hi I'm Lex and I've been studying the occult for about a decade now in general. I've been a student of the Western Esoteric Tradition for a couple of years now ever since I started to study tarot and astrology properly back in 2016. I'm also an adherent of Aleister Crowley's magical and philosophical system called Thelema. As for connections to other magical orders, I'm not yet associated to any Thelemic groups on any official capacity while I do aspire membership to Ordo Templi Orientis someday.
At the moment my studies have been solitary for the most part, including my association to the Outer College of A.'.A.'., where I'm taking the Student grade as a prelude to being a Probationer.
My latest studies have been focused mostly around grimoire systems from the Renaissance period like the Arbatel, Ars Notoria, and the Enochian system, and my foundations are based largely from the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and Qabalah. As someone who was raised as a Roman Catholic from youth, I've also dug into Traditional Roman Catholicism (Pre-Vatican II) and Esoteric Christianity.
I've heard about this mystery school from a friend who runs qabalistic healing meditations and ritual analysis sessions over Zoom video conferencing since the pandemic started. He's associated to FLO and SOL as a fellow student of the mysteries. Honestly, I think this is a swell site to find a proper correspondence course in.
